Camp Van Hawaii - Traveling beach home

Owners were great, hand off was smooth picking up and returning.
It is difficult to get enough cell service to call your Uber or Lyft back to the airport or wherever your adventure is taking you next from the pickup address. Make sure to allot additional time to ensure you will not miss your flight.

We did not find any camping locations we felt safe leaving the doors open overnight, which was unfortunate, and we ended up having to rent a hotel room two of the three nights we have the van. We cannot leave the van on overnight, solar charged batteries will run out and the van will notify you that it’s time to turn it off.

It was nice to have the van during the day, to lay out at the beach/catch a quick nap. It also would’ve been very helpful to know what time the drop off was, we had to agree to an additional $50 charge because we had not planned to return the van 10 AM, which was not previously discussed, nor have we seen that information listed in any of our communication or the ad.
AC would stop blowing while driving at times, we rolled windows down, wasn’t too warm in late September. We were on able to sleep in the van overnight due to not feeling safe leaving the doors open, and not being able to leave the AC on.

Otherwise, overall functionality of the van was perfect. No issues with maneuverability or while driving.

We had to wait over a year to take our trip to Oahu beach use of COVID, but Anastasia was so flexible with letting us change dates multiple times. The van itself is awesome and comes with everything you need and the bed is SO comfy! Also, the rooftop had so much space for our surf boards and chairs. We would highly recommend this van!!

This camper van is a fantastic way to see Oahu! We traveled the waimanalo area up to the north shore for 3 days, and the van performed great in terms of transportation and camping. The authentic inside design added to the experience of our trip and would recommend Anastasia’s listing to any friend traveling to Oahu. The Van itself is a treasure and just too freakin' cool.
Park wherever and rest, get t travel the whole island without thought of returning to a hotel or stationary rental.
Man this van was so awesome. Drove well, and has all you need to live out of it.

We were in Hawaii for 3 weeks - one week was spent in the Travelling Beach home. We had the best time in the van - really comfortable and with all the extras to make it a truly great experience. We'll be back next year!
